beyerdynamic TG I51

STEP UP YOUR PERFORMANCE

The TG I51 is a dynamic instrument microphone – it gets the most out of you and your instrument. It’s your companion on drum kits, snare drums or floor toms as well as on electric guitar amplifiers or wind instruments – no matter if you’re on stage or in the studio. The natural sound and the well-thought-out, slim but robust construction fulfils your every wish. For producers and sound engineers, the microphone is a versatile partner – a true all-rounder for instruments.

NATURAL SOUND

The microphone boasts beyerdynamic's characteristic natural sound so you’ll hear your instrument just like you want it: as a pure, natural reproduction. Our microphone has a quick response and outstanding impulse fidelity.

WELL-THOUGHT-OUT CONSTRUCTION

It can get a bit hectic on stage and on tour. That’s where a microphone should be able to withstand whatever comes its way. Vibrations and even an impact won’t affect the robust housing. But the TG I51 is still slender and relatively light to transport. Its rather short shaft makes it very easy to mount the microphone on its stand or on a snare drum using the MKV 87 from beyerdynamic. It requires minimal space and is sure to be your lasting companion.

FOR MANY USES

The TG I51 is a versatile instrument microphone for many uses. Whether on drum kits, snare drums or deeper tom-toms or on guitar amplifiers: It always produces the highest sound quality. The microphone also demonstrates its strengths on brass instruments, making it an all-rounder for the stage and studio.

OPTIMAL ISOLATION

The cardioid characteristic ensures excellent isolation from ambient noises and increases protection against feedback. It’s particularly suitable for uses involving direct sources in loud environments. Even on the very loudest rock-and-roll stages, the dynamic instrument microphone demonstrates a remarkable resistance to feedback – rear sound is suppressed and side sound is only recorded at very soft levels.

MADE IN GERMANY

Made by hand at the company’s production site in Heilbronn, the TG I51 fascinates users with its exceptional workmanship. The combination of craftsmanship, select materials and years and years of production experience creates a truly reliable drum microphone.
